General Use Policies

Permitted Uses: The Lost Creek Lodge is available for weddings, corporate events, retreats, and
other pre-approved gatherings. Any use of the property must comply with local laws and ordinances.

Prohibited Activities: Guests and visitors must not engage in activities that could damage the
property, endanger others, or violate local, state, or federal laws. Examples of prohibited activities
include but are not limited to:
- Open flames indoors (e.g., candles without proper holders).
- Unauthorized fireworks or pyrotechnics.
- Smoking indoors or in restricted areas.
- Vandalism, graffiti, or other forms of property destruction.
- Any form of illegal activity or disturbance to the surrounding community.

Respect for Property: Guests are required to treat all indoor and outdoor spaces with care,
including furniture, fixtures, appliances, and landscaping.

Noise Levels: All events must adhere to reasonable noise levels, particularly during late hours,
to avoid disrupting neighbors or other guests.

ADA: Guests understand that The Lost Creek Lodge is NOT ADA compliant. The age of the building
does not require current ADA regulations.
Damage Deposit and Reporting

Refundable Damage Deposit: All events require a $500 refundable damage deposit. This deposit will
be returned within 14 business days after the event, provided the property is left in good condition.

Damage Reporting: Any damages, accidents, or issues with the property must be reported
immediately to Lodge staff. Failure to report damages may result in partial or full forfeiture of the
damage deposit.

Damage Responsibility: Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing any damages beyond the
damage deposit. By using the property, you agree to reimburse The Lost Creek Lodge for all necessary
repairs or replacements resulting from negligence or misuse.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations:

Cancellations made more than 100 days before the event will receive a full refund. The Lost
Creek shall keep monies paid up to the cancellation date. Clients will not be responsible for
any remainder due.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event.
- There are rescheduling options available. Additional fees may apply.

Force Majeure: The Lost Creek Lodge is not responsible for cancellations due to events beyond our
control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other emergencies. In such cases,
rescheduling options may be provided.
Liability

Guest Responsibility: Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of
their guests during the use of the property. The Lost Creek Lodge is not liable for personal injury,
loss, or damage to personal property.

Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify and hold The Lost Creek Lodge harmless from any
claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their use of the property.

Alcohol Policy: As the host of a private party clients acknowledge responsibility for the proper
and lawful consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Miscellaneous
- Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property unless prior arrangements are made and approved.

Fire Pit Use: Use of the outdoor fire pit is permitted only with proper supervision and adherence
to safety guidelines.

Trash and Clean-Up: Guests must dispose of all trash in designated areas and ensure the property
is left in a clean and tidy condition.

Harassment: Harassment of any kind is unacceptable and The Lost Creek Lodge reserves the right to
remove any person/persons.
